More than a quarter of the companies exhibiting at next year’s PacPrint 05 will be new faces to the event, further reinforcing PacPrint’s position as the premier trade show for the industry. The variety of products and services which these companies will exhibit are as diverse as the industry itself and encompass paper embossing techniques, software packages, digital printing, offset press machinery, inks, consumables and packaging solutions.

“We are very pleased with the number and the breadth of companies that will take part in PacPrint 05", says Ron Patterson, chairman of the PacPrint 05 Board. “Many companies see PacPrint 05 as a key opportunity to meet with customers, launch new products or simply network and we welcome the new exhibitors aboard".

New exhibitors include Océ-Australia who will showcase several new additions to its vast product range and Singapore-based Cyber, a leading supplier of workflow, prepress, digital, offset press and finishing equipment.

Other first time exhibitors include Anitech, Applied Pressroom Technologies, Australian Laminating Company, G2 Solutions, Independent Ink Technologies, KBA Australasia, Network Marketing and Walls Machinery.

“The addition of such high calibre companies to the PacPrint 05 mix further adds to the event’s offer as the largest display of products and services for the printing and graphics industries in the Southern Hemisphere", says Patterson.

PacPrint is the largest and most significant trade exhibition for the printing and graphic technologies industry in the Southern Hemisphere, staged every four years. It is an event which the industry acknowledges as a conduit for new information and global directions, with visitors attending from throughout the Asia Pacific.

PacPrint is presented by the Graphic Arts Merchants Association of Australia (GAMAA), and the Printing Industries Association of Australia (PIAA).

PacPrint 05 takes place at the Melbourne Exhibition & Convention Centre from Tuesday May 24 to Saturday May 28 2005.
