New website launched for finance comparison

Printers now have a Choice style website to compare finance rates for equipment, with industry financier A Class Business launching its Finnovate website.

Printers logging on can get an instant comparison rate from major lenders including SunCorp, ANZ, WestPac and Bank of Queensland, for a range of finance options, including purchase, hire purchase and lease.

Finnovate director Chris Beath says, “Two years ago we decided there should be a better way for printers, and looked at the comparison-type sites like Webjet. The new Finnovate website is the result, printers can get an instant comparison and monthly breakdown of different finance options.”

Beath is adamant that finance is available for printers, both offset and digital. He says, “Providing a printer is able to meet the two main criteria banks are able to lend. These criteria are the ability to service the loan and the equity to pay back the loan if necessary. Any printer that has survived the GFC, that has a good credit history, and is a well managed company, turning a profit should be able to find finance, bankers aren’t averse to print, it is a business decision.”

The website is free for printers, Finnovate receives a commission from the financier for each deal that goes through. Beath says, “Printers don’t pay for the service, and in fact they should get a better rate going through our website as we have the volumes with the financiers for better rates.”

Print is one of the main three sectors for A Class Business , along with engineering and woodwork.
