Opus Group’s Canberra based business CanPrint Communications has won a three year multi-million dollar contract worth $4m to supply content delivery services to the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC).
CanPrint Communications will produce the voting and electoral roll information that the AEC sends to voters for the next three years.
Sam Holden, general manager, CanPrint Communications told Australian Printer the contract win is a sign of growth for the company he says, “It’s a sign the company is growing and succeeding in the print industry, we have a Heidelberg Speedmaster and an Oce VarioStream 7450, both impressive machines. Everyone at CanPrint is over the moon with the contract win.”
Holden says, “This confirms the benefit of CanPrint’s investment in and development of a full document-management service, highly confidential, timely and security sensitive work, experienced account managers, central-ACT location and reflects our proven track record for working with government.”
There was a competitive tender process and CanPrint a subsidiary of the Opus Group was selected as the preferred partner to assist the AEC to communicate with eligible voters via multiple content delivery formats.
