Positive Camtec has signed a business partnership with soccer A League leaders Western Sydney Wanderers, which will see the wide format solutions company financially sponsor the newest sporting team in Australia.

Philip Trumble, managing director, Positive Camtec told Australian Printer “As passionate football fans, we have been greatly impressed by the achievements of the Western Sydney Wanderers in their inaugural year, not just on the field but in more importantly in the community”

Trumble says, “A visit to one of the home matches at Parramatta stadium leaves a deep impression of how important the club is to the western Sydney area. It has achieved what no other code has been able to do: unite Western Sydney, breaking through the barriers of race, religion, social status and creed.”

He says, “Lending our support to the Wanderers is just one way that Positive Camtec gives back to the community. Our core belief is that it is our duty and privilege to give something back to the community, engaging in many activities including sponsoring kids through Plan Australia and the Smith Family.”

Western Sydney Wanderers success in their inaugural season has stunned the A League and sports fans alike; and are only one match away from winning the minor premiership. Their crowds are the highest in the competition
