Robertson joins DSChemport as business development manager

DS Chemport  appointments 
Experienced printing and graphic arts industry executive, Graeme Robertson has joined specialist press consumable company, DSChemport (DSC). Robertson has been given the newly created role of business development manager at DSC, reporting to associate director Commercial, Ken Rendell.

In his new role, based at the DSC’s Australian headquarters in Melbourne, Robertson, aged 53, has been tasked to source new products and develop new businesss for the Australasian markets served by the company.

He spent the last 10 years at Ferag Australia as Southern Region sales manager responsible for post-press products.

Prior to his stint at Ferag, Robertson worked for Printing Technologies as South Australian and Victorian manager, overseeing the company’s complete product range from prepress to post-press including capital equipment.

He has had a long and successful career in the printing and graphic arts industry having commenced as a photo engraver / litho platemaker before venturing into a sales role.

Speaking about his appointment, Roberston says, “I’m looking forward to the new challenges that this appointment will bring and being able to successfully apply the skills that I have developed in my previous roles for DSChemport and the Australasian markets.”

Welcoming Robertson to his new position at DSC, Rendell says, “DSChemport is delighted to have secured Graeme in this new role. He brings with him a very high level of skill and knowledge of the graphics arts industry.

“This appointment will further enhance DSChemport’s ongoing ability to offer greater service and commitment to the industry,” says Rendell.

DSC is a subsidiary of Fuji Hunt. It manufactures pressroom and prepress chemicals, UV inks, UV- and water-based coatings for the sheetfed and web offset printing sectors.
