The 2005 Australian Packaging Awards, organised by the Packaging Council of Australia, are now open for entries. The awards recognise and reward outstanding achievement in the field of packaging. The Awards give manufacturers, brand owners, designers (functional and / or graphic) and producers of packaging the chance to let their creations Shine.
The theme for the 2005 Australian Packaging Awards is Shine. The PCA says tThis year it wants to see packages that are a cut above the rest, packages that stand-alone in their originality, aesthetic quality and functionality.

Closing date for entries is June 10 (entry forms only), closing date for receipt of packages is July 15. Judging will take place on July 25-27. Presentation Dinner is at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Melbourne on October 6
