Following its inaugural success in Melbourne last year, the Creative Suite User Conference is set for Sydney from November 1 to 4. To be held at the at the Australian Technology Park Conference Centre in Eveleigh, the 2005 Creative Suite Conference will feature Adobe’s recently announced Creative Suite 2 (CS2).Conference organiser Barry Anderson says its for Adobe Creative Suite experts, users, newcomers in fact, anyone who needs to know how these products really work together.
“If you use any one of the Creative Suite products - Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat or GoLive - this will be a valuable show,” says Anderson. “If you use two or more of these applications, this is an event you cannot miss. If you have not upgraded or want to see if buying CS2 is worth it, then the Creative Suite Conference can help you make up your mind.
“CS2 is a rich, amazing software, and this user conference will help people learn how to get the most of out of it, with unprecedented access to international expertise. Given the response to our CS conferences in Las Vegas, London, Chicago and now Sydney, there is clearly a hunger amongst the user community for knowledge.”
Speakers for the conference include graphic designer and principal of Scott Citron Design in New York City, Scott Citron; graphic design trainer Sandee Cohen; Fuji Xerox Australia production software marketing manager Eliot Harper; and business development manager for Adobe Creative Professional market, Michael Stoddart.
November 1 will be a full day pre-conference “essentials” training course so anyone can get up to speed fast in Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, or Illustrator.
As the event coincides with the Melbourne Cup, Anderson says a special race event will also be put on for attendees.
