Going alone: Toyo now selling direct

Japanese ink manufacturer Toyo Ink and Australian distributor JL Lennard have ended their supply agreement for Australia.

The two companies have been working together for the past four years, but Toyo will now distribute its own ink direct to the market.

Toyo says, “With effect from 25 February 2013, Toyo Ink (Australia) and JL Lennard Pty have mutually agreed to bring their commercial relationship to a close.

“Going forward, Toyo Ink Australia customers may contact Toyo Ink directly to purchase its products by contacting the Toyo Ink National Customer Service department on or or .”

JL Lennard which is one of the oldest suppliers in the industry, will continue to market its wide range of press consumables though its graphics division.
