The Currie Group has expressed delight with the attendance at its mobile showroom so far as the company wound up the north island section of its tour yesterday.

Craig Paul, general manager for Currie group in New Zealand, says, “Yesterday we had Debbie Weaver, owner of Porirua Print Co and she brought her dog into the showroom. So, I guess you could say we have had every woman and her dog visit us. Seriously though, the positive reaction to the Currie Group solutions has been heartening for all of us. Visitors to the showroom have been impressed with the HP Indigo 5600, which is for sale in fact. The tour isn’t just for demonstration, we are selling equipment.”

Apart from the HP Indigo 5600, Currie Group has a range of finishing solutions in the mobile show including the AFC-566FG automated folder; the BQ-160PUR binder, for perfect binding; the CRB160 creasing unit; the PF-40 automated folder and the SPF-7 booklet maker. It also has an Ideal 5221-95 EP electric guillotine in operation on tour.

He adds that The showroom will now cross the Cook Strait and make an appearance in Christchurch on March 18 and 19, before heading to Dunedin on March 21. Paul adds, “We are now looking forward to taking the mobile showroom to the mainland. Anyone wanting to book a demonstration or make enquiries can contact Mike Stevens () for HP Indigo and John Dear () for Horizon.”
