Day International reorganises positions
Day International has appointed Jason Kennedy as technical sales manager for New South Wales and New Zealand. He has recently come from Toyo Ink where he was that company’s business project co-ordinator and he has more than 15 years industry experience.
In his new position, Kennedy will be providing day to day contact for customers and technical service and he will be based in Sydney.
Meanwhile, recent changes at Day International have seen the promotion of Eddie Holmes to business manager for Web Products. Holmes joined Day International over 10 years ago and was responsible for dayGraphica products until the acquisition of Varn International in 2000.
Until recently he was responsible for all products in certain areas and segments, but this has been narrowed down after the company decided to add more focus to the various segments of its operation.
Mike Golby, who joined Day in 2004 with sales responsibility for Australia, is now business manager for Sheetfed Products. Golby was previously with DIC Colortron after many years industry experience on sheeted presses.
