Readers of New Zealand Printer, the only magazine that delivers content dedicated to Kiwi printers, packagers and signmakers, can now access the February issue in an online version for PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad and Android devices.

Hosted by RealView, the online version of New Zealand Printer appears in exactly the same format as the printed version – which continues as the core platform – but has the advantage of being able to deliver rich interactive media, such as embedded video, and hyperlinks to advertisers' websites.

The first issue for 2013, February, contains a host of features including a Digital Lite Buyers Guide, a look at Fuji Xerox’s wide format offerings and an in-depth look at leading offset print businesses Apex, Blue Star, Wickliffe together with digital outfit Razz Print.

Print NZ has released its new Industry Report, which we highlight with detailed information about the state of the industry, with author Dave Macintyre calling for printers to confront the new normal. Print NZ also has a piece on staff training, and still on the business front David Underwood looks at Accident Compensation while new columnist Dave Fellman looks at sales, and the problem of communication.

Bruce Craig, editor of New Zealand Printer says, “This month’s issue of the only magazine for New Zealand printers is chock-full of valuable features for all owners and managers of print businesses.

Brian Moore, long-time publisher of Printer Magazines Group says, "New Zealand Printer, regarded as the leading print medium in New Zealand for the past 29 years, has achieved and maintained that reputation through continual innovation. By delivering the magazine online as well as in print, we can make sure that we provide a superior service for our readers better served, allowing more readers to subscribe, and enabling advertisers to enjoy a direct connection to the readers."

Online readers can sign up for an email which notifies them the instant each new edition is published online.

Moore says, "This is about expanding our reach and providing new services. We anticipate that the printed version of New Zealand Printer will continue to grow and develop, perfectly complemented by the online version. We have a proud tradition in New Zealand of providing a magazine that is written by Kiwis and printed and distributed by Kiwi-owned companies and that won't change."

To access the online version, readers simply click the graphic of the front page on the i-grafix website, and fill out a simple registration form, after which they can access New Zealand Printer online, whenever they like.
