Image matters: Lisa O’Neill speaking at the year's first Women in Print event

The audience at the year’s first Women in Print evening, held at Sorrento in the Park in Auckland’s One Tree Hill, received advice on personal branding and image.

At the event, sponsored by BJ Ball and Heidelberg, professional stylist and motivational speaker Lisa O’Neill kept the crowd of print industry women in stitches with her presentation titled: Be Your Best You (Personal Branding & Image). She charmed the audience with her wit and humour and offered advice on fashion as well. This included handing out the latest in undergarments, knickers and stockings, for women to look at. She feels compelled to inspire women to look their best in every event.

She explained that she had been every shape imaginable before, during  and after her four children, adding that she had the wardrobes with clothes graded into various sizes to prove it. She said, “Getting dressed in the morning is a legal requirement (if you are going to go out of your house), so you might as well do the best you can with it.”

Ruth Cobb, manager at PrintNZ, says, “It’s always great to provide an opportunity for people in the industry to network and to be able to offer speakers of Lisa’s calibre.”
