There will be some 72 international exhibitors heading to Australia in May for Auspack Plus, bringing with them products and innovations for visitors to see.

Luke Kasprzak, event manager, Auspack says, “The international exhibitors will be coming from as close as New Zealand and as far away as Germany.”

Kasprzak says, “It is very exciting to see that we have such an international reach of exhibitors from Taiwan, France, China, Italy, Vietnam, United States, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Singapore, Turkey, South Korea and India.”

He says, “The companies include Ambaflex Specialty Conveyors, Bandera Luigi, Behn + Bates, Beumer Group, cab Technology, Cermex, Filler Specialties, Haver & Boecker, Krueger & Salecker, Novamont, rml Engineering, Sky Softgel and Utien Pack.”

Beumer Group will be exhibiting innovative filling, packaging and palletising solutions. One of them is the fillpac R rotating packer, which BEUMER has improved and equipped with new features.

The company says the BEUMER fillpac R is designed for capacities of 300 to 6,000 bags per hour, can now process bags of all kinds and, with a special bag placer, even fill HDPE bags. The filling impeller has now been enlarged, permitting higher throughput and thus faster filling.

The Beumer Group’s product range also includes the paletpac high-performance layer palletizer for palletising bags filled with bulk materials. This flexible unit stacks paper, PE and PP bags on pallets of all common sizes with accuracy and stability. The user can quickly and easily set the required parameters. Depending on the product requirements, the Beumer paletpac is fitted with a rotary clamp or double belt turning device for moving the filled bags quickly and gently into the required position. Beumer also offers the robotpac, a space-saving, fully automatic articulated robot which is able to perform complex palletising and depalletising tasks reliably and efficiently. Containers such as bags, cartons, boxes, canisters and trays can be stacked safely and economically. Beumer has developed appropriate, flexibly exchangeable gripper systems for every packaged product.

Auspack Plus is owned and presented by the Australian Packaging and Processing Machinery Association (APPMA), Australia’s only national packaging and processing machinery organisation.
