Messe Düsseldorf is expanding interpack 2014 by introducing a new event ‘components for processing and packaging’ which will take place during the first three days (May 8-10) of the largest packaging trade fair in the world.
Bernd Jablonowski, director, interpack says, “Components for processing and packaging is extending the breadth of the offering flanking interpack to include the supplier side. Although supplier companies may not exhibit at interpack itself under the fair’s eligibility criteria, they can now benefit from the exhibitor diversity at interpack as the leading international fair. Conversely, exhibitors at interpack only need to take a short walk to find out about their suppliers’ products and services.”
The idea of bringing interpack exhibitors and their suppliers together by introducing ‘components for processing and packaging’ was welcomed by interpack’s Advisory Council.
Messe Düsseldorf is offering the ‘components of processing and packaging’ stands in complete packages comprising of stand construction, furnishings and power consumption in sizes of 9,12 and 18 square metres.
Exhibitors and visitors at interpack and the ‘components for processing and packaging’ are allowed to visit both fairs without having to buy a separate ticket.
The event is held at Düsseldorf’s City Hall (Stadthalle) in the Congress Centre South (CCD Sud) at the Düsseldorf exhibition grounds.
The previous interpack in 2011 was one of the most successful ever attracting 166,000 visitors and 2,700 exhibitors from 60 nations in all of the 19 halls which were fully booked.
The world’s largest packaging trade fair runs for seven days from May 8-14, 2014.
