Registrations are now open for the 2013 Australian Packaging Design Awards (APDA) which recognises excellence in the packaging industry.

The Packaging Council of Australia (PCA) encourages works that have consisted of imaginative, innovative, and or creative packaging design.

Jennifer Salem, awards manager and divisional manager, PCA told Asia Pacific Packaging, “The awards are designed to recognise excellence in the packaging industry and bring the best of the packaging industry. We have made major changes to the criteria and judging.”

Details of the awards presentation will come in the following weeks.

Following the success of last year, the categories remain the same, allowing the entries to be judged by product category.

The categories include:

  • Food
  • Beverage
  • Household & Office
  • Health & Beauty
  • Industrial
  • Seasonal & Promotional

The AIP are currently offering an ‘Early Bird Easter Special’ Registration Rate

The Early Bird Easter Special” Registration Rate: Closes on April 12 2013.


Cost: $165 per pack (incl. GST)

Registration Rate (April 12): Cost: $220 per pack (incl. GST)
