With only a week to go until the Dave Fellman sales event, organisers say interest has grown steadily for the seminar taking place in Auckland on May 21.
The seminar audience will comprise a decent cross-section of the local print community looking at how to sell print in today’s tough environment. Brian Moore, group publisher at PMG (Printer Magazines Group) says that the tickets to the one-day event are limited and he has received enquiries from industry business owners, managers and sales staff moving to book seats.
Moore says, “This is a chance for Kiwi business owners and sales staff to learn from a master salesman. All printers can print, but not all of them are selling print to the best of their ability. Dave Fellman will impart critical skills needed for success in the new age of print.”
The New Zealand Printer columnist, author and speaker will take print sales staff and managers through the six critical skills for sales success. He will teach prospecting, questioning, convincing, negotiating, time management and customer maximisation skills in depth. The seminar will also feature be bonus segments on effective sales management for owners and sales managers, and how to talk marketing with your customers and prospects.
Recommended for salespeople, managers and owners who need strong but simple tools to grow their sales, the seminar will, “get them hitting the ground running in just one day.” Moore says, “Whether you work for a big concern or are an owner operator the Dave Fellman Print Sales Event will directly impact on your selling ability: his teaching is recognised for its value around the world.”
Endorsed by the Printing Industries Association of Australia and sponsored by Canon, the seminar takes place on May 22 in Melbourne, andMay 23 Sydney. Fellman kicks off his tour in Auckland on May 21, the same week as the PrintNZ Conference and Pride In Print Awards.
