KBA Australasia used its stand as a gateway to display a six-colour KBA 105 sheetfed press. Visitors to the stand were invited to an installation site in Milperra to see the machine in action. P&I Pharmaceutic were the obliging hosts. After being given ringside seats to watch the machine go through its paces, printing two different poster runs plus blanket, roller and plate wash-up in between jobs, visitors were invited to get up close and personal with the machine and examine the prints as they were inspected by KBA demonstrators. PrintEx03 was the first public showing for KBA Australasia, which was formed earlier this year as a direct sales and service operation for the German press giant. The new company is headed by well known figure Rhys Burton.
