Fuji Xerox has announced it will introduce the 1400 Inkjet Color Continuous Feed Printing System that can print at 100 metres per minute in full colour duplex, equivalent to 1312 pages of double-sided, two-up A4 documents.
The new system uses an inkjet printing system that enables high-speed printing. The company says that, among printers with the equivalent output speed of 100 meters per minute, the width of 1400 Inkjet Color Continuous Feed Printing System is the world’s smallest. Its body consists of a lightweight aluminum frame, enabling installation of the device on above-ground floor levels.
Fuji Xerox said this new colour printing system will find applications in industries such as banking and finance, life insurance, and securities and telecom, which issue personalized documents, such as account statements and invoices, to individual customers.
The company will demonstrate the 1400 Inkjet Color Continuous Feed Printing System at the Japan Graphic Art Show 2013 JGAS, held at Tokyo Big Sight on Oct. 2-5.
