The new facility has all Lanier’s print production solutions on show, and is a reflection of how far the company has come after entering the print production market only two years ago.
It comes on the back of an investment in a similar centre in Melbourne, with a Brisbane showroom set to open in three weeks time.
Raj Chandiok, print production group sales manager for Lanier says, “The new Sydney centre will be a place where printers can engage with innovative new technology solutions designed to enable them to create new revenue streams, and improve those they have.”
Lanier has positioned itself as bespoke digital print solutions provider, tailoring systems to individual printers needs. It has some high profile names as its customers, among guests at the opening event were Kerim El Gabaili, CEO of ProGrafica, and Gordon Lang, CEO of Docmasters. Bill Healey, CEO of Printing Industries was also among those in attendance.
John Hall, CEO of Lanier told the assembled guests that the new centre ‘offered a glimpse into the future’ as it hosted the convergence of print and IT services.
In regard to new revenue streams Chandiok pointed to examples such as Lanier’s online cloud based web to print. He also said, “Personalised targeted print gets a reaction.”
