BJ Ball has moved into the narrow web flexo inks market, signing an exclusive deal to represent Flint Group products in Western Australia.

Tony Bertrand, marketing and business development manager, BJ Ball Group told Australian Printer, “As BJ Ball continues to build a value based offering for its customers, our partnership extension with Flint Group makes good sense.”

Bertrand says, “Our customers are asking for a consolidated supply chain that maintains the required expertise and knowledge. As the leading graphics arts supplier in Australia and New Zealand, we are confident our customers will see real benefits from this recent initiative”.

BJ Ball Western Australia will be distributing the full range of products to the narrow web market, which includes both solvent and water based packaging inks and coatings.

As the paper merchant continues to grow its footprint in the commercial and packaging print sector, BJ Ball says partnerships such as this will provide its customers with greater value.

Last month BJ Ball acquired industry supplier Graph-Pak’s laminating supplies division.
