Konica Minolta has launched its next generation monochrome high speed digital press series to Australia, the bizhub Press 1250 and the bizhub Press 1052.

Grant Thomas, product manager, Konica Minolta Business Solutions Australia told Australian Printer, “The new Models represent a monochrome digital print system that provides quality, reliability and cost performance, while offering leading productivity and finishing capabilities”

Thomas says, “Some of the new features include the greater media flexibility with lighter and heavier weighted stocks, now with 40 to 350gsm media capabilities.”

He says, “The bizhub Press 1250 and bizhub Press 1052 are built on the solid performance of the bizub PRO 1200 series, and feature a solid, long-lasting frame with a print engine that has proven technology, designed to meet the needs of heavy duty production environments. It is ideal for deployment by the education sector, government and large corporations.”

The bizhub Press 1250 is built for a production cycle which can print up to 3,000,000 impressions per month. It runs at speeds of up to 125ppm, while the bizhub Press 1052 prints up to 105pp.

The new presses have an enhanced user interface with on screen Job list control, job ticket editing and job scheduler.

Konica Minolta says the new AIO all-in-one finisher will increase finishing functionality while still keeping a small footprint. There is also a new GP-502, inline auto ring Binder for up to 110 sheets hole punched and bound.
