Melbourne print management company Wellcom has scored its first major win with NAB’s print contract, which is believed to be worth millions of dollars.
Melinda Phillips, general manager of print management, Wellcom was unwilling to disclose the length of the contract or how much it is worth, however she told Australian Printer, “This is exciting for us, we are looking at winning further contracts along the lines of this one. Our technology was a major factor in why we won the contract.”
Phillips didn't disclosed who Wellcom had to compete with to win the contract but is happy Wellcom has been chosen ahead of other well respected print management companies.
The NAB contract was previously held for many years by Corporate Express. NAB – one of Australia’s largest banks - put the print management contract to tender on March 21.
It is the first major contract win since it took full ownership of its joint venture with Australia Post, iPrint, which has been rebranded as Wellcom Print Management. Wellcom recently invested in new print management technology, called One Market.
Wellcom was founded in 2000 by chairman, Wayne Sidwell and also has operations in Auckland, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and London.
