The New Zealand Sign and Display Association says that, with time running out before the deadline for entries to this year’s awards competition, signmakers need to place their entries in soon.

The entry deadline of midnight Friday March 8 means that judges will have time to evaluate the entries before making the awards. Nick Baty, president NZSDA, says a lot of work has gone into revamping the annual awards since this time last year, with the entry system completely overhauled and now completed fully online. He says, “I have been involved in the testing process for this, and can report that the system works extremely well, and reduces the time and effort required to enter by a massive margin. The new system is live as we speak, so get online and check it out, and start getting those entries in.”

The awards night will take place on April 27, during the NZSDA annual conference held in Blenheim from April 25-28. Baty says, “Now is the time to start making plans and booking flights. It will be here before you know it. Anyone wanting to enquire about the awards or the conference can visit www.nzsda.net.nz

Apart from the awards night, the conference will present a range of specialist speakers, a golf tournament and a winery visit.
