Organisers of the 24th Tokyo Pack expo say it will be the largest international packaging show in the Asian region in terms of both the number of exhibitors and visitors.

They say the show, which will run from October 2-5 ,will attract customers from all over the world, providing strong support for the expansion of business opportunities.

Held biennially since 1966, Tokyo pack covers all aspects of packaging with the focus on packaging materials and packaging machinery that are used in all industries. In 2010, 551 companies exhibited to 62000 visitors.

Over 500 domestic and foreign firms involved in packaging businesses will exhibit under the one roof. Organisers say the show will help exhibitors improve their brand power and increase their presence within the packaging industry.
