Joint venture for Kiwi sign innovation

Sign manufacturer Textiles Alive has joined forces with Packaworld to be the exclusive manufacturer of Packasign skins, an inflatable advertising hoarding.

Packaworld says the Packasign innovation will change transportation and set up methods for hoardings, describing it as “a new concept to meet the ever increasing demand for professional looking advertising space.”

Pete Roberts (pictured left), director at Packaworld, believes the deal with Tauranga-based Textiles Alive will improve both the robustness and functionality of the product. He says, “Textiles Alive has a great reputation in the marketplace and an eye for innovation and quality which is perfectly aligned to Packaworld’s vision.”

John Heyworth (pictured right), managing director of Textiles Alive, says the companies have rigorously co-developed the signage system over several months. He says, “We’ve been in the professional printing business for a number of years and are very excited about the opportunity to be involved with a new innovative product that has huge potential both here in New Zealand and beyond.”
Packaworld is the trading name of NMR Enterprises Ltd and provides a range of packable, portable products for a range of industries and applications.
